Picking up a SP295BHS Tomorrow and then Heading Out!

Hi all, we are picking up our 295BHS tomorrow and we are super excited. We just returned from shopping for it and we are picking it up and heading straight to a close-by campsite.

With 3-kids we liked the bunk house where everybody gets their OWN bed, but the fight for the "top bunk" has already begun. Lol.

Question about the outdoor kitchen, anybody out there ever unhooked the propane line going to the gas stove and hooked it up to a gas grill? Is this what folks are doing since the Surveyor doesn't have an LP connection dangling off of it somewhere?

Ok, another question about the outdoor kitchen. I wanted this because I wanted to cook bacon outside and not inside. But, does grease accumulate on the door since it doesn't swing all the way open?

My 240 RBS has a connection for gas, under the kitchen. But it will only work with a special BBQ because its a low pressure connection. :-(

I haven't had any issues keeping the outdoor kitchen clean yet, but I wipe it down after each use.

I have that same model, bought it new in 2012. It has been a great rig, very few problems. The kitchen door replaced under warranty.
You probably know that you can extend the waranty a year for $99....
Call factory direct.
Love the outside kitchen, use it all the time.
Never had an issue w cleaning it. Also use the grill and cooktop often.
