Propane alarm

Our propane alarm is going off in our 2011 surveyor sport 260. The propane is turned off, and our trailer is just parked at our house. Any ideas? How do you turn it off!?

Is your battery low? that will cause it to go off.

The main battery is low. So it's always going to go off when the battery is low? That seems silly.

Agreed with battery being low! Disconnect battery when not in use.

Ok, thanks. As you can tell, we are newbies to this whole travel trailer thing. My husband even went to the store and bought a new alarm haha. Oh well.. Thanks guys.

Take the new alarm back and charge up your battery. The camper will always have battery parasite power loss unless it is plugged into shore power or the battery is disconnected. (clock, radio, propane detector, etc.)

most of us install a battery disconnect switch so this doesn't happen.

Nevermind, googled it. Thanks guys, I'll definitely order one. Who would've thought owning a travel trailer could be so complicated! Haha
