Propane Stove Recommendation

Our 2016 251RKS has the propane stove prep. Can anyone suggest a stove that has a connector that will plug directly into the prep on the side of the trailer?

It's a propane pre-connect for a bbq grill.
It's low pressure so the only stoves I know that will work, are popup stoves.

I removed the pressure regulator from my grill and added a hose with a quick connect connection. Larry G.

I ordered a Flame King 2burner interior stove and lid off of Amazon. Built a box for it. Purchased a hose quick connect from Propane Gear. Put it all together. If interested, I can get you a parts list.

Thanks for the input everyone. Wish there was something all plug & play instead of having to make all these modifications to a stove to be able to work in the factory propane supply.

Problem is that most propane stoves are high pressure and all RV propane supply is low pressure.

That's why I bought a Camp Chef stove with a BBQ grill box.
Plugs right into the quick connect.

I don't think our 2017 has a connection on the outside. Where on the trailer is yours?

It's on the side with the awning, between the wheels and the pas thru storage.
You have to bend down & look under the side skirt thingy. Sorry, dont have a pic to post.

I think I found a good option i will investigate more...Camping World has an item# 37764 that uses the on-board low pressure propane connector.

When we purchased our TT, we requested that the dealer swap out the RVQ for a stove. He did, and what we got was a 3 burner Suburban cooktop in a blow molded base that hooks on to the siderail and connects to the lp quick connect. I've seen the 2 burner style as well. I assume they're out of a FR PUP. I'd give either a 5 star rating. The 2 burner will be easier to stow away. 3 burner more cooking area. Way more useful than a grill hanging on the side IMHO, besides I'm kinda fond of the Weber Q with the direct hookup

We have a Camp Chef Weekender and bought the RV hose, which attaches to the quick connect. It has two 20 000 burners and legs, but they're short, so we use it on a table. It's incredibly powerful and just the right size. Click image for larger version

I'm modifying my Weber Q in the next couple of days with this Converta-Q kit from Torjik. It'll let me run my Weber Q from the low pressure port on the camper.
