Question regarding Satellite on SP295

Ok, on my last trailer we did not have factory installed Satellite, I used the flat cord & ran it through the emergency exit windows... our new SP295 (which I will pick up Tuesday) has the satellite built in hook up. My question is does this just run to the entertainment center in the living area or can I also plug in a box for the entertainment center in the bunk house? Thanks in advance for the info.

You will love your SP295. I have been full time in mine since October. As to the satellite, I don't have one but I saw the TV connection for outside (via outside kitchen) and it has cable and satellite connections that feed into the single output. So I would assume the hook up in the bunk house is the same. Inside the entertainment center there are two connections. One for cable/antenna and one for satellite. There is also a button for the built in antenna. If you connect to cable in an RV park you will need to turn off the antena boost button. Enjoy your TT

The Satellite connection only goes to the entertainment center. I am looking at adding a second line to the bunkhouse which will be easy to do with the outside kitchen on my SV305. If you pull out the drawers you can see across to the other side of the trailer Should be able to drop a line from the bunkhouse and pull it across.

The way we have ours set up is, I have our satellite receiver set up at the entertainment center then 1 output to the TV and the second receiver output to the cable line that feeds the rest of the trailer. You need to do the mod on the cable access plate in the entertainment center to do this. (or take it apart to connect to the right cable) This will supply the satellite output to your outside connection and to your bunkhouse TV.

The directions can be found in this thread. (Thanks Herk)
