Duh, I'm a dummy. Just went out and looked at mine, I have one switch for auto-off-gas. "on light" stays on all the time when in auto and "gas light" is on when 120vac not available and flashes when it has a failure......

If your Dometic fridge "check" light is blinking you have a malfunction (I believe).
Here is the latest manual and it details the operation of the "check" light.

If you have a different manufacturer or model then forgive me as I am not familiar with your mode of operation or trouble codes.
