Sewage draining issues

Oh crap.

Literally.

I went to go load up today after our camper had been in storage all winter.

First I find a small leak in my toilet line, luckily not much water came out before we stopped it.

Then I went to flush my black tank and I went I to take my sewage cap off and sewage is coming out of it. The pipes are closed (or show that they are). Any ideas?

High probability the waste valve has failed. The rubber (or whatever they use) seals at the moving parts are a very high failure item...especially if they are not used much. They are very easy to replace and can be done in less than 10 minutes.

You can also get a "temporary" valve. https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-T58-...r=8-1-fkmrnull

At some point during every day you suddenly realize nothing else productive is going to happen the rest of that day. For me, it usually occurs around 9 am.

I'm a big fan of the twist on valve that Emm-Dee recommended. I'm never surprised when I twist off the cap anymore. Reasonably priced insurance, in my opinion.
