No it affects other models, I got the recall on my Rockwood Roo 233s.

I actually caught the leak before the letter but not before major damage.
FR replaced the entire roof, front wall (my unit slopes forward int the driveway), part of the floor structure, the entire laminate floor, and some minor things all under warranty.

If you get the letter have it checked out.

I got a letter in January about mine. I believe several brands and models were effected. However, if yours was built after they found their mistake, it probably isn't.

Nope, My 2013 Rockwood was recalled and I have 3 cracks in my skylight. Also a delamination and staining on the side. Not too happy.

Can I get a refund

I had one that leaked and in a torrential downpour at the beach we noticed water coming in. Always wondered why my tub always had black mold even though I dried it when putting it away. Well, I paid to have mine done that weekend so I wouldn't have anymore damage. I wonder if they would reimburse me for the cost. I have all the receipts.

Got mine replaced yesterday, I asked the dealer to check it while it was in for other stuff and he said they are recalling them and I should have gotten a letter but I did not.New one now on.

I replaced mine Saturday. The manufacturer of the skylight sent me the parts and I figured it would be easier to do it than to haul the RV into Ft Worth. It was easy. I sliced the old sealer off with a very sharp 1" wood chisel and stayed out of the rubber roof membrane. I removed the screws and got the cracked up unit off without ripping the membrane. Then the work began. Getting most of the old butyl tape off without messing things up took a while. I was sent new tape and a tube of sealer that matched the sealer on the trailer. New tape and screws and sealer and the whole thing took me about 2 hours... and I am sure it is done correctly. I found this pretty early on so I am pretty sure I have no water damage. Another 20 minutes to clean the shower out good, and it's good as new...

Look at this!!



Can you see how much my thumb goes down? The membrane around the warranty repair is wavy and loose. It is not attached to the roof.
AND... the sealer is still tacky after 2 weeks - everything is sticking to it!!


Called the dealer and I need to take it back - GRRR!!
They will fix it while I wait.
Then she says "It should have been done right the first time."
Ya think??!!?

Received a second letter from FR stating that just because it hasn't cracked..it will. Get it replaced now! I called the repair place I use and they said they would contact FR, order the parts and when they have them, call me to bring it in. I'm just glad to get it fixed before I have any water damage.

Been trying for 10 days now to get a response from Susan Thornberg (the person listed on the recall letter). Neither the service manager nor I can seem to get a reponse from her on how to get this skylight repair authorized and the parts sent to my repair facility. I've called and repair facility has called(left messeges), I've emailed twice and so has repair facility. I sent another email today to Amber Wilson at Surveyor. Does anyone know how or who to contact to get this thing going?

Just up on the roof and found that it is cracked again, wonder if they will cover this again.
