Slide out leaks when pavement is wet

Our 2018 Surveyor 243RBS leaks when traveling on wet pavement. The carpet gets wet at the rear corner of the slide out. With the slide out extended you can see light at the floor. Went to a nearby Forest River dealership and took this picture of the foam/rubber seal that our unit does not have. Apparently the "NEW" units are coming out with the fix. Contacted FR and hoping they can send the necessary parts for me to install instead of taking it in and waiting for the dealer to fix it. You know how long that might take especially during peak camping season.

I have the same issue but I don't see light at base of slide. I'll be curious to hear the solution.

I had the same problem 2012 coachman brookestone. After not getting a definitive answer as to fix from fr, I took a very light piece of sheet metal, And made a flashing. I used self tapping screws a screwed the flashing to the floor support arms. Two years now and no wet carpet. I extended the flashing one foot each side of tires. I centered the flashing over the tires easy fix.

My 2016 Flagstaff had that issue. A dealer added another seal that was a little taller. I know have two slide seals on the bottom. It has never leaked again even in heaven downpours while driving. I'll try to take a picture of it tomorrow.
