Getting a little concerned with the forecast of 20 to 28" wet snow tonite and tomorrow, I decided to get up there and do some shoveling. The 10" of snow had compacted to ~6", and it was heavy, with slush and ice on the bottom. I very carefully shoveled most of it off with a portable plastic shovel that I have, so the old snow won't contribute to any additional weight with the new snow coming.

I also am prepping the trailer for an emergency shelter, in case we loose electricity.
Smart move shoveling off the earlier snows. Since it appears we're going to get slammed I'm doing the same thing in regards to a emergency shelter if the power goes out for too long. It looks like it's going to be a stressful weekend.
