Good luck with your new Surveyor! We just got a new (leftover) 2017 243RBS. Taking it on it's maiden voyage first weekend in July. So far I'm happy with it.

We have a 2016 Surveyor 243RBS and are really happy with the floor plan. Use the outdoor kitchen area nearly every trip and the large bathroom is a winner with spousal unit. Unfortunately we ended up with one of the units where the end cap faded in a year due to the contractor reducing costs and thus poor quality on the paint. I have pushed the Forest River people to fully cover the repainting of this end cap. They originally only wanted to pay $1000 as there were so many claims coming in. This was a limited defect and you should be fine.

I have the Husky Centerline WDH and it performs great behind my 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 6.4 ltr. Put nearly 4,000 miles on the trailer and only minor issues. The storage capacity is more than we have needed. The longest trip has been for 10 days with 4 people, but had extra storage space.
