Surveyor 264 Electric Stabilizer Jacks

I'm just looking down the road.... I have the electric stabilizer jacks on my 264. I know where the fuses are and carry replacements. My question is..If you have power and the jacks won't go up or down, is there a manual override to get them to move? I know I will be the one stuck at the CG trying to get them back up so I can leave. What do I do when that happens?

You most likely should have a crank that came with the camper to do of what you ask.
Some use a socket with a cordless impact.

The info was in some literature that came with our TT.
Disconnect the power wires from the jack motor so you don't back feed power into the system. Use a wrench or socket on the opposite end of the shaft to raise or lower the stabs.

Pages 6 and 7.

Thanks Twisty. I'll have to go back thru my materials and see if I have that info. Did you get the crank handle with your unit? I don't have one or don't know where to look for it....

Edit... I called Surveyor and they told me to contact my closest FR dealer and ask them to order the crank under my warranty.

You're welcome, Bob
I did not get a crank handle.
I carry some tools so I cut a slot in the end of a deep socket and keep it in my tool box. It is much smaller and lighter than that big ol' handle. I just can't see carrying that handle for thousands of miles on the chance I may need it once.

I know what you mean Twisty. That's just something else to take up room. I contacted my dealer and he said he would get me one. With the performance I've seen from the dealer so far, I'm going out to cut a socket right now .
