Hey guys i just bought our first TT and took it out for a weekend voyage and have a few questions on it.
1. How do u know when the slide is all the way out? i dont want to burn out a motor.'
2. It rained hard overnight and no leaks until i went to put slide in? it ran into the kitchen area. No leaks when i woke up in morning from rain when it was out!
3. Is there a way to crank the slide out in if the motor or battery is dead?
friend has a jayco jayflight and the have a wrench to put on motor. i didnt see that on this one.
THanks for the help guys..

you should stop when the motor "ratchets".
it's not unusual if water gets in when pulling the slide in. check the upper wiper seal to see if it's making contact with the slide's roof.
our trailer came with a crank, similar to the stabilizer crank, that attaches to the motor, under the sofa.

If the battery is weak and you need to get your slide in, just hook up your umbilical cord to the tow vehicle. Make sure the TV is running as many brands have a relay that isolates the TV battery unless running.

I have an SP293 and my slide motor is under the kitchen cabinet. If it is out then I have four screws that you have to take off to remove a panel to get to it. I just make sure I have a socket that will fit it and will use my drill to run it in just like I do my stabalizer jacks.
