surveyor frames

This might sound like an odd question but does anyone with a surveyor trailer have outriggers from the frame to the floor on the sides of their trailer? That is, is the floor supported by the frame or does it just hang over the 12 inches or so on each side that mine does, unsupported, only at the front of the frame.

thanks for the info,

the only outriggers on my sv291 are at the very front frame and near the slide out. Even then they are kinda pitiful looking. It looks like the whole side and much of the roof weight is being supported by that 1' cantalievered floor.

Don't worry about the floor supporting the side walls on the overhang, it has plenty of structure. I recently did a repair to a section of floor and got a good look at its makeup. Its plywood - foam core - plywood, approx 2 1/4 inches thick; with aluminum floor joists of 1 3/8 inch square tubing, every foot or so spanning the width of the floor.

Thanks for the info. Got any pics? Do the joists run perpendicular or parallel to the frame?

thanks,
