make sure you buy the 2nd year warranty. We bought a 2012 SV 235RKS, front double bunks. Had many problems, They say now I need a new roof because it is delaminating. Forest river wants my dealer to peel back the rubber roof to inspect. not what I expected in a 3 month old trailer. Very dissapointed.

Well, after much research, looking at campers, negotiating, and with much help from many of the members here on this forum (A BIG thank you!), my SV-291 is home in my driveway. Now to get is loaded and get out camping.

Cdbus-congrats on your new camper. We are still waiting on ours. We hope it will come in shortly. After you have camped in it, post something and let me know how it is going. Have fun!

Congratulations !!!

We would love to see the pictures of the new 291 for sure !

One word of caution, the brakes for the rear wheels were not properly adjusted in mine and I adjusted them myself. It is something you should always keep an eye anyways. You want all four brakes working, not just the two front ones, so it is worth making sure that they are all adjusted. Your dealer should have done that but, mine hadn't, so I thought I would mention it.

Many happy camping days in your brand new trailer ! When it is time to install an LCD tv (If not already installed) you can ask me how I pulled that off .

sv-294

Hi,
We ended up going with the SV-294 select in March of this year. No Regrets. We have 4 children from 7-2 so the 4 bunks were a must. After speaking with other owners it was better to go with that then setting up and breaking down beds every night. We have been on a few trips with it and love the layout and features. Hope this helps.
Have Fun!

Just curious-where do you put a trash can in the sv-291? We are still waiting for ours, but are getting supplies together. I can't think of a good location for a trash can. Is there a good place and if not, what solution have you come up with?
Thanks-

Sometimes I keep the can here and when I'm cooking it's here under the stove!!
I keep the towel on the back of the seat cause anyone getting in the refrigerator puts their hand there...

I just hang a small plastic bag by the door handle of the oven .... half full and it gets removed. I do not like loosing space on the floor
