Surveyor SP295 water pump issue

2013 SP295

Has anyone had problems with their water pump?

The water pump has never worked great. You can't take shower with it.
Pump runs all the time.
Replaced it but still runs all the time. The pump is 12 feet from the water tank. The manufacturer says it should be only max of 6 feet from the tank.

Where should the water pump be?

Why does the pump run constantly?

If you leave the pump running, does it empty the tank?

I found that the pump was actual sucking so hard it was collapsing the water line causing the pump to starve for water. End up replacing the whole water line from the fresh water tank to the pump and removed some elbows in the line. The pump works better then it ever did and the pressure says constant.

It seems to me this means the water line you replaced had some sort of blockage in it.

The Water Pump is typically located close to the Hot water Heater.
