SV-305 first trip

Hot dog, Got our new trailer loaded up, hooked up, gas up, well you know… all that stuff.
We left the last Thursday for Cedar Mills RV Park in Texoma and it turned cold that night in the low 20s. Friday night it rained and then on Saturday the cold got serious by adding an 18 to 22 mph breeze. Then Sunday the weather man said that we had a wintery mix on the way for that night, so by that time my wife was asking if it might be time to leave. Well you married guys know that code. We left. However, I learned a lot on our first ever camping trip, the trailer did not freeze up and I had a great time. The highlight of the trip was the Canadian Geese that stay a couple of days within 200 feet of our Surveyor. I have never observed one of those before and they are assume, I did not know they were such a big bird. Anyway, the trailer was great in frigid weather and I (we I hope) cannot wait to get out on another adventure.

Wow! That's a rather intrepid first trip! With those temps, are you winterizing your trailer I hope?

We have more than enough Canadian Geese here in MN. We'll give you some! We call them flying rats here. They are beautiful; but mean and dirty.

They're "sky rats" here. Just hate it when they mess up my golf course! I love to watch them, but you're right, they're messy and their "mess" is bigger than a lot of dog turds!
