Tomorrow Surveyor 295!

Tomorrow we pick up our new Surveyor 295! I am excited but nervous
I will overlook something. I really love the floor plan and hope the rear
kitchen will make my life easier...

Congrats!! We love ours, used it for 2 weekends so far and have very few problems. Everything seems to work mechanically, but the door hinges under the sink seem to let go on one hinge which I can fix easily enough. The other thing is to look at your awning, we unrolled ours on the maiden trip and found a hole probably the size of 2 pinheads in front of the door. Hope FRiver decides that they will fix it, however I am not expecting them to,as I am sure they will decide that I damaged it.

The other thing that you may want to get is 2 additional portable jacks to put in front of the front tires. I found when the kids moved at night in the back of the trailer that it felt like someone was jumping inside. I bought 2 cheapo jacks and put them under the frame by the tires and I could not feel a thing.

Anyway good luck and have fun!!!
Those are the only 2 problems that

I forgot to add 1 thing...I put a anti sway bar on mine and it sure came in handy on the weekend. There was not even that stiff of a wind but it was sure tossing the truck around. Put the sway bar on and tightened it up hard and it was just like there was no wind blowing...

Did a couple of sleep outs in the driveway with my daughter. The camper was comfortable but kind of stuffy, not a lot of cross vent. We are coming from a hybrid
where we could get a nice breeze trough. What am I doing wrong here? I had all the roof vents open and the bathroom on exhaust as well as most of the windows and still got little or no airflow. Fantastic fan the answer?

I found that if there's not any wind to run the fantastic fan and open the windows the farthest from the fan.

Could you explain about the wind? I'm confused.
