I just want to add this: Having bought a used TT after having pop-ups for a few years I had a lot to learn. One was "How to properly adjust a weight distribution hitch". My TV is a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500, or 1/2 ton. I moved the ball up and down, used different links on the WDH until I found the sweet spot. Once I had found that sweet spot the TV and the TT look level from a distance now. Pulling the TT becomes so much easier when the DWH is set up properly between the TV and the TT. I also agree that the RV techies are not the "Holy Grail" of information we wished they were.
