Wittal, that chart used to be on a website called RVTowingTips, but it has apparently been taken over by another owner, as the previous owner was forced out because of copyright problems.....something like that.

It was my understanding when that chart was listed, that the figures were for the total lenght of a full sized travel trailer. Fold downs, boat trailers, and other trailers used a different formula because of not having such a tall profile as a coventional travel trailer.

According to the chart, I am near my max. with a 145.5" wheelbased truck, and a 28.5' travel trailer. The chart was a good "rule of thumb", but I don't know what data it was based on.
