Tundra with Equilizer Hitch CAT scale #

Hello -

Do these numbers seem right:
Vehicle: 2014 Tundra SR5 (2wd)
Empty: (one driver 3/4 tank gas)
Steer axle: 3000
Drive Axle: 2460
Gross: 5460

Same Vehicle (driver & pax, 3/4 gas)with 29' Surveyor (lp, battery, 10gal water - quoted empty 5700lbs))
Steer Axle: 3040
Drive Axle: 3560
Trailer Axle: 5420
Gross: 12,020

The truck fenders move a bit when loaded to tow, but all are within 1/2"of each other.

Truck sits level, trailer too.

Is the hitch set right?

Sounds like truck and trailer are right, are you using weight distribution? On second thought the front truck axle when loaded seems light.

I'm using the equalizer with the 10k# bars. I thought the front may be a bit light, but will re-weigh with the entire pkg ready for a camp experience. THe front steering wasn't floating and the truck / trailer are level. . . .

I would try tightening the front some and see how it drives, a little trial and error plus when you load the truck and camper with gear you will have more weight.

You are already over the original front axle weight by 40 lbs. Do not tighten it anymore.

If you have the Equalizer instruction manual, follow it to get the front fender at least half way back down from when it's loaded without the bars on. The closer to original height the better. Then make sure the bars are parallel to the a frame.
