For the most part it does sound like the marjority of Forest River owners are happy with their units! I do realize that a product that is mass produced, not every single one is perfect. Like I mentioned, I'm in for the long haul and feel that a slide that leaks, roof separating, interior walls separating, defective Thetford water valve, defective Suburban water heater Module board, and defective Concertone AM/FM/DVD/CD player fits outside the box in terms of quality control from Forest River! Especially since the trailer is less than six months old...it's only been in my hands since the end of October.
My biggest dilemma...finding a dealing that will accept warranty issues with my trailer. Since the trailer was not purchased locally, they are reluctant to offer service!
Anyway...moral of the original post...be limited on walking on the roof!
