Water heater bypass location? (Solved)

We have an sp-280 and I can't seem to find the water heater bypass. The brochure states its a standard option. Anyone know where it's located?

should be directly behind your hot water heater on the inside. You may need to remove a panel to find it.

Often under a dinette seat or something similar. Locate the heater externally and then visualize where that is on the inside. You may have to unscrew and remove a panel as previously posted.

yep - snooping around my newly acquired tt I removed the plywood panel that is under our lower bunk mattress and behind the water heater - all the water lines and valves there, including all the trash left by the workers at FR (all clean now and also found a dime).....Bill

Check under the forward, bottom dinette seat cushion.

Found it tonight. Underneath the back bunk there are four screws and the board lifts up and it's right there. Thanks for the help!

I've removed all of those silly panels that FR installed to "hide" various components. Made them much more accessible for monitoring and servicing, plus opened up a considerable amount of storage space for small, not often used items.
