water leak

I have a 2007 sureveyour 291 and i noticed water on the floor in the bathroom below the vent. It rained hard here this weekend 2" in about 4 hours and noticed it was leaking from the trim piece around bathroom vent. I inspected the caulk and it is starting to crack. I took apart the trim piece and there is no water damage to the ceiling plywood or styrofoam. there is an opening in the styrofoam so i can see the screws for the bath skylight and the look rusty. any ideas on how to fix this.
Do i just caulk all of it? would it travel from the air conditioner area? could it travel that far and leak. any help appreciated. will post pics of the caulk and the area for fan.
