IMO, water goes "bad" after awhile. Certainly loses its fresh attributes. That's all I meant by punk water. And depending on where you've filled up, it can get stinky. We got a bad case of that from some water from a campground near Leech Lake MN. We couldn't believe how bad the water smelled after being in the trailer for 30 days. Had to flush the whole system and bleach it.
