2005 Grand Surveyor 272

I'm looking at this fine looking trailer ..and I am considering buying it ..

2005 FOREST RIVER Grand Surveyor GS-272 for sale in Takoma Park, Maryland -

Does anyone have any input ? Fair Price .. The owner said he would take 14K even. Less then 1K off the asking price.

I have been looking and looking for the past two weeks .. and found that MOST private sellers will most likely take 2K or more off a trailer around and above 15K

I found a Rockwood 2007 28' trailer .. listed for 15K and the seller offered it for 12,500 cash deal ..

I REALLY like this Grand Surveyor .. its real nice looking and looks to be well taken care of .. BUT its a 2005 .. for 14K

Confused in NJ ..... Any in-site would be greatly appreciated

One dealer I have done business had a "blue book" of the wholesale? value of used trailers. The price sounds bit high to me. Refer to my post dated today regarding NADA.

You can buy a brand new trailer for around 16-17K ....

I got my SV-291 for 17+K two years ago. For a seven year old trailer, it is way too much money ... just my humble opinion.

I purchased it in USA, in case my location confuses you.

Ken, that sounds a bit high for a 2005. I would think 11-12,000 would be more reasonable.
