2005 gs 280

I recently bought a 2005 GS 280. The bracket that keeps the rear from draging had been torn loose. I straightened and repositioned the bracket, drilled and tapped the screws holes for a 3/8" bolt. There is wood between the outer skin and frame. My question is does anyone know how wide and what the thickness the frame is? I am thinking about installing sissor jacks to help level as those stablizing jacks don't look like they will do job.
