2006 gs272

I'm scheduled to take delivery on the GS272 this Friday. Is there anything I should know before then. The unit is basically new and looks to be of good quality. We are compromising a little bathroom space in comparison to our trade in but the new one is 1400 lbs. lighter.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

to FRF, make sure everything works before you leave inspect tires as well. It sounds like your unit is used and that's ok, inquire about any service records. Good luck and enjoy.

Welcome and Happy Camping.

If you have as good luck with the 272 as we've had with our 282 you'll be fine. Climb up on the roof and inspect the caulking. If that's been kept up most likely everything else has. Basically run every system to make sure they operate properly. Be sure to run the water heater on gas and electric. Don't forget to run the furnace and the A/C too.

Thanks for the info. The dealer I'm buying from does a one to two hour run of all the systems while I'm there to make sure everything is working before delivery. I feel pretty good about the manufacturer, because when I called to ask some questions about the slide out, the were more than helpful. As long as I'm not getting any negative feedback on this unit, I will probably take delivery soon.
