Release valves

I bought a used 2005 grand Surveyor 272. Can someone tell me which t-handle drains the grey water and which drains the black water. I can't see the pipes from underneath and there are no labels. Thank you.

release handles

I don't know about the Surveyor line of RV but on ours the gray tank valves are gray plastic and the black tank valves are black plastic.I would double check. Another way to find out, would be to put a few gallons of water in the kitchen sink drain, then open each valve and see which one has water coming out. Open slowly over a 5 gallon bucket, or use a clear plastic adapter into at a full hookup campsite.

If the tanks are empty... open the faucet, run water in either the sink or shower and then go pull one of the valve handles.
If water comes out, you got the right one.
You can always put a couple drops of food coloring in the shower/sink drain to make it easy seeing which one is which too.
