tail light short

I have a 2004 gst291 that has a short in the tail/running lights. Anyone have had this problem?

Short in that it keeps blowing fuses? Or are they working intermittently. What most people call a short really isn't. Give us a few more specifics and we'll try to help.

I had a problem with my taillights and found that the sockets were corroded, had to replace them. Lights on a camper are not like lights on a car, they are not waterpoof they do leak.

Try a piece of very fine grit sandpaper to clean the contact points, followed by a spray of electronic parts cleaner which you can probably get at Radio Shack. Do the bulb, too.

We kept having problems with our running lights. Like someone said before, get a emory board and run it across the contact points on your 7-pin connector. I put a good cleaning on each contact point and the running lights were working just fine after the cleaning.
