19RR...Weight Distributing Hitch ????

I'm towing my 19RR with a Dodge 2500 4WD Diesel. So far I've not seen the need for a WDH.

What say you? Are you using a WDH? What type of tow vehicle and how heavy is your bike/ATV?

Thanks

Until now, I have been using a 12X7 Homesteader Patriot cargo trailer that we converted to a toy hauler, and have not used a weight distribution hitch. The Goldwing is about 900# and the Suzuki is about 400#. I realize the 19RR is heavier than the cargo trailer, but probably not by a bunch. The weight distribution hitch would help if you are experiencing a lot of handling issues.

Thanks,

No handling issues, but just wondering if other are experiencing the same. I've yet to tow it with my 600 pound motorcycle inside. I estimate the Trailer weighs about 6000# totally loaded without the bike.

Take a good look at the head (drawbar) of your hitch assy. Most draw bars are good for up to 14,000.lbs. when using the wd bars, and only 6,000 lbs. when using just the head and no bars. Should be a label or stamping to that effect.

Pulled home the day we bought it. 5700 lb dry behind F250 Super Duty. No wdh and barely noticed it back there. Since pull it wet at about 7000 lbs always with wdh with side clamped on anti sway bar. Actually much better and we have become so atuned to it that we can feel if the anti sway isn't tight enough by the slight pull we can now feel when passing trucks.

We are big fans of wdh always

19rr

We towed ours with a Dodge 1500 Hemi with one sway bar and zero problems even when hauling a golf cart. No need for a wdh for me.
