2012 19WP - LED lights under entry door - how to turn them off?

Bought a 19WP a few weeks ago. There are several amber LED lights below the entry door threshold on the inside and outside. I cannot find any switch to turn them off. Called FR and they don't know either. They think they work off of another switch and the wires have come off somewhere and not allowing to turn them off.
Are these lights factory or aftermarket? If factory, how are they actuated?
Thanks. Enjoying the 19WP so far. We have racing go karts for our 5 year old and 9 year old and used it for the first time last weekend and just loved it.

They might just come on when steps are pulled down - did you try putting steps up?
