Looking at the Forrest River site, I don't see a slide on the 21 WP, but I'll give you a generic answer. If the slide is electric, as most are, you don't need to access the motor. Wouldn't do you any good. Whatever way the slide moves, there should be a shaft coming through the frame on the opposite side, with a 3/4 inch nut on it, in line with the the front slide track. Sometimes there is an access hole in the side of the trailer, depends on brand. You should be able to crawl under the edge of the trailer and see the shaft, on the opposite side from the slide. Warning, you will be there a while using a hand ratchet to open or close the slide.
