2014 19RR - No Spare Tire?

Do these things come with a Spare Tire standard? I have looked all over, even under the bed but there is no spare anywhere.

Wouldnt you think a spare tire would be standard or is this some sort of upgrade?

Thanks

Hey there wasn't one on my 2010 Salem by Forest River Cruise Lite. Had to find the tire and then have a undermount installed. There wasn't even a place to put it! i bought mine used from a dealer and never noticed it, of course, till I got it home.

Sorry hit too soon. About 50 bucks cheaper. I asked them if anyone actually buys a camper without a spare and they told me I would be surprised.... They referenced the 1 year road side assistance as a reason.. I laughed, I am from the school of I rely on my own roadside assistance if possible....ie a spare. ;-). Guess that's the Eagle Scout coming out in me.

Bought a 30' motorhome in 2000, no spare. That about when it started, don't tell ya, gotta figure it out on you own! I ended up "sharing the cost" with the dealer.

Mine didn't come with one either. Where can you get a spare tire for the 25RR?

Google the make/model of the tire from the sidewall and you should be able to find it.

The spare tire mount is likely to be your biggest challenge - but even those are pre-fabed and sold. I think Lippert offers them as an aftermarket accessory.

Travel Trailer spare tires are usually optional but most dealers order them with it............

Even my parents Chevy Cruze did not come with a spare..... Dad is over 80 he couldn't change a tire now any way.........

The dealer said they called the manuf and they said this model dosent come with a spare tire...

Hope I dont get a flat somewhere LOL

Will a Can of Fix-A-Flat work (be it a short time) to travel to a service station on these trailers (wet) or is the weight to much for the fix-a-flat?

If you have a flat tire there'll be nothing left of it unless you know right away. It's more likely that you find out when other drivers are honking and waving. I wouldn't be doing any towing without a spare...

Like Dave says you must stop ASAP. How bout a TP monitor? Not for blowouts only leakers, the flat fix is for limited distance/ speed.

You would need the XL can for big tires in this case. ;-)

Our25rr didn't come with a spare. I bought one online. Using the size of tires on the sidewalls and the size of wheel from the sticker on the TH 14x6. I went to take off the wheels on the TH to replace the tires, and find stamped on the back of the wheels that they are 14x5.5. Anybody know if that would be a problem if I have to use my spare?
