Got letter also. My issue is air conditioning. This is third air conditioning unit put on main area. Was told dometric had 23,000 bad units out in field. Hope the third one is the charm for me.

That stinks Porky. Will they replace the whole ac unit this time? Maybe there's something else wrong than just the compressor, like bad wiring.

Man porky. That does stink. Hopefully this one will take care of the issue and be trouble free.

Porky, I hope this one works for you! 23,000 bad units? Hard to believe! Did your garage radio problem ever get resolved?

Bought a 2015 39R12 Vengeance in August. Hauled our two HD 883 Irons to Tomahawk, WI from Maine. 3000 miles round trip. Pulled nice with Dodge Ram 3500 6.7L. One problem with a slide out seal leak in heavy down pour driving thru Chicago. Due to a seal not flipping out. My fault for not checking. Opps! No probs otherwise. Spent time giving many tours to other RV owners. Love the rig.

Hey proky
Sorry I didn't read all 19 pages of this tread but I live in Lebanon sorry to here about Family Campers going out of business. They seem like a good dealer / they were always helpful to me. Iam actually looking @ 2016 Vengeance 320a model tomorrow. My wife and I really like this Toyhauler. Anyways I thought I would check in and say howdy neighbor.

Welcome to the family, Sadie! We always end up giving a tour wherever we go. My hubby gets mad cause I'll pull out the slides and show it anywhere cause I love it. The last time was in a grocery store parking lot. Lol! I had to open the slides to put everything away anyhow right? (I know, not really, but it sounds good.)

Crap! I just went into the trailer to put some stuff in it for our upcoming trip and my fridge failed again! Error E0 which says that the power unit isn't talking to the display. Has anyone had this problem before? Any solutions?

I haven't had any problems with mine. But is it possibly a bad connection in the wiring ? Have you tried to turn it off to try and reset it? Just trying to throw ideas out there. Good luck with it. Hope it's something simple.

Hey all! No posts here in a while! In December, we decided to go to Florida for a while, so we loaded up the Vengeance with all our stuff and both Trikes and headed out. We're staying at Tampa east RV Resort on a nice concrete pull thru site. Been living in the camper 60 days so far, and only two problems have cropped up. First was the galley tank cable. The outer cable housing pulled loose from the T handle, leaving the galley drain open all the time. After poking around, I found that the carpeted plywood panel on the left side of the water panel comes right out with 6 screws, allowing full access to the back of the panel. I stuffed the cable housing back into the T handle shaft with some super glue, and re-crimped it. Works great so far, but I'll probably need a new cable eventually. While I was in there, I cleaned up a pile of sawdust and shavings. The water pump is also right there, and you can see the water tank easily. Many things can be assessed through this panel. A couple days later, my wife noticed that all the interior lights were getting dimmer and dimmer. Checked the battery, and it's way down. All fuses good, so I set about looking for the converter. Found it behind another carpeted plywood panel in the rear of the right hand storage compartment. Only 4 screws holding it. Mine has an electrical outlet and cable connection on the panel, but there is plenty of slack to open the panel. The converter is screwed to the floor. Fuses were good, so I pulled it out. (It is plugged in to the back of the main electrical panel, so you have to remove the cover and the panel mounting screws. Plenty of slack in wiring to pull the panel out far enough to un plug the converter. It smelled burned, and was putting out 5 volts when I tested it. Fortunately, Camping world is only a mile away, so a new converter is now in and working great. So, when we go home in March, I'll be at the dealer again trying to get reimbursed for the converter, and a new cable for the galley.
Still nothing on getting a new hitch, so we're still pulling with the original 1621 Lippert, still see the 18,000 lb max sticker, every time I walk by, lol.
How's everybody else doing?

Hey! Took our Vengeance to Anaheim in So Cal for a week in January. We go every year to a music dealer convention and decided to take the 5er instead of getting a hotel room.

So much nicer! We loved it. Plenty of room to bring home new products too.

When we got home, the bedroom slide started making funny noises. Turns out, the bed is held to the slide with two small screws! They have torn loose and we need to call FR to get it fixed. I'm thinking that we should just fix it ourselves. It will probably hold better if hubby fixes it anyway.

We haven't heard anything about our hitch either. Just the initial conversation with Forest River

If you end up on the West coast, give us a shout out. Maybe we can go ride with y'all.

I'm trying to join the club. Working on a deal for a 40D12. But the dealer is being a little too crafty and sly for me. We're working on it though.

Great to see all the good reports on Vengeance haulers. Gives me comfort if we go that route. We'll see.

KFX, welcome to the Vengeance toy hauler world! We (knock on wood) have had only a few problems thus far, in the almost two years we've had it. We learned that taking it back to the dealer, which is less than an hour away, has resulted in generally good work, but it takes a while. In that time we've pulled it more than 11k miles, and camped more than 120 days. If I had it to do all over again, I would still pick my 39R12, (actually 41'-7") but I would ask many more questions during the walk thru inspection. Even tho I have "warrantee" until 2019 (50$ deductible) at this point, I'll probably do my own repairs to minimize downtime at the dealers. The only thing I'm looking to change is the Lippert 1621HD Pin box. I'm seriously considering the Reese Goosebox, with air ride technology. I already have the B&W turnover ball.
Good luck on the purchase of your Vengeance!

Hey everyone! I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but our bed came loose from the slide in the bedroom! It's only stapled together. So if you use a memory foam topper, I would suggest unscrewing the plywood and looking at the bedframe. Here's what we found.

Man sorry that happened. I did have the mattress and plywood off earlier this year I didn't notice any problems with mine as of yet. I'll have to take a closer look next Time I take them off.

On a different note I did finally get the kingpin changed from the 18k to the 21k. I had no issues. My dealer was very prompt at installing the kingpin while I waited.

Tim, what pin box did you get, and did FR pay for it?

It's just the standard kingpin rated for 21k. Either the dealer or FR paid for it. Either way nothing out of pocket for me other than towing it to the dealer. Which is only 20 minutes away. Worked out great. Economy RV's scheduled it. I dropped it off and ran an errand and they were done by the time I got back.
