I would just get the Costco one. It Is also 4" and the king size is only $199. They're easy to trim and a huge savings, even if you have to purchase a Costco membership.

They said the dryer was clogged on main A/C, so they replace the unit. It would freeze up within a few minutes of turning it on.

Wanted to let everyone know that I had gotten a leak up in the master closet. As soon as I got a chance to climb up and take a look. This is what I found. Click image for larger version

ID:	79301. I have talked with my dealer and they are getting the warranty stuff taken care of. I'm putting a quick repair on it today to prevent any further damage or leaking. Figured I'd give you guys a heads up to take a look and hope yours is good.

It appears the rubber roof was cut too short and the wind got up underneath.

Good thread, I read through all 16 pages and enjoyed all the information I have got so far. I just got a 2015 39b12 Touring edition. I guess after hearing of all these problems I hope its not a trend with forest river. I know most people only take to forums to vent and trouble shoot. So far we haven't had any serious issues with ours. However we have only used it 2 nights....

My only concern is how the fresh water system works. My wife and I primarily dry dock without water or power. This has a 100 gal water tank but when it gets full it seems to lose an awful lot from the vent tube, as well if I am parked going down hill I lose a lot of water. Long story short when we got to where we were going my level said 2/3 full of water... When it got to 1/3 it started sucking air and we were out of water, very quickly. How does this system work? Is there a way to position the hose at a lower part of the tank to get more water before running out? Like I said it wasn't even on empty before we were SOL. Otherwise I hope everyone gets their issues fixed. Keep us updated and thanks for the help in advance.
Nick

Hi Nick,

Welcome to the club!

We have not had any water problems while dry camping, but we have the 39R12. I don't know if the water tanks are set up the same. You have an additional bath, I think? If so, you may have a different plumbing configuration.

I hope that someone on the forum has an answer. You might want to give your dealer a call. Something sure doesn't sound kosher. Good luck.
