Thanks for the info. Funny, but I was given a sticker for my pin box which says 21,000lb. You are supposed to take the old 18k sticker off, and put this one on. Lol, what a joke. We spent the winter in Florida, and when we came home, I saw the the rear tire on the left side has worn the tread off on the inside. The tire on that axle on the right side looks good. I made sure all tires were at 80 psi before leaving Florida, and that tire is now at 79, so TP isn't it. Looks like I'll be taking a trip to the dealer to figure that one out. I'm ready to replace all the China bomb tires anyway, but that wear on the one tire has me concerned.

Hi all. I have a 39c14 touring. We bought it new and have enjoyed it a lot for the last year and a half. We have had the roof peel from the front, which our dealer did take care of. I also had the bed come loose from the slide, which I fixed and reinforced. I also lined the bed with carpet sliders which seems to take some stress off the bed.
now I'm having an inconsistent cooling issue with the fridge and I'm hoping I can get some pointers on how to fix it.
I'm not getting any error codes shown and I can see the fans working on the outside area.
It will cool to about 40 deg then raise to around 60 deg +/-. It did this at least 4 times this last weekend when we had it out for 2.5 days.
I checked to make sure no insulation had dropped down, which it had not.
Any advise or help is appreciated as the dealer is a 3 hour drive.

Gas-man,
Your frig issue doesn't happen to occur when you change from electric to gas does it? My vengeance doesn't swap properly about 1/3 of the time. Have to turn frig off & back on when we unplug.

Hey Ultraboy. We just had to replace our tires with only 4000 miles! Just like you, the left rear was completely bald! We were on our way to Bend, Or. We replaced all six at Les Schwab with 14 ply Gladiators. The tire guy basically said that the original tires are junk. He also said we should rotate the tires every 1000 miles, because the rears on a triple axle tend to float on the highway. 3 hours and $1300 later, we were back on the road.

Gas-man, our fridge did the same thing. The dealer ended up having to replace the entire cooling system! I guess there is a pin hole that gets clogged up if the system wasn't properly cleaned out when the pipes were put together. That hole would clog up from time to time. Eventually, it just stopped working altogether. I hope you don't have that problem, but ours started out just like that.

Music shop.. I'm going with the Maxxis ST235/80-16E. Costing a little over 1200 with all the extras and taxes. I've never heard that about the rears on triple axles before, but it makes sense. Rotating ever 1000 miles will be a hassle. Most of our trips are 500 miles one way. I'm assuming it would be back to front, front to middle, middle to back.
Gas man, our refer would not switch from shore power to gas automatically either. We did it manually until I was in for some warranty work, and the shop had to replace a relay. Problem solved

Planning our next trip now, looking like South Dakota, black hills, Rushmore, etc. was out there in 2010, had both trikes with us, great riding, great country!

Hey Ultraboy, our trips are about 450-550 one way also. It stinks, but I may have to do it. On a good note, both hubby and I can drive it, so that makes it a little easier. Camped out in McCloud right now sitting in the shadow of Mt. Shasta. Have to head back tomorrow. 😞

Lol, my wife can drive too, although she tends to go 70+. She is fine going in and out of fuel stops and interstate driving, but won't back in, or pull into campgrounds. I installed a Titan 65 gallon under the truck diesel fuel tank, so we don't stop for fuel that often.

Nice. I'm looking at an extra tank too. Hubby wasn't watching the gas gauge and we had to go through this Chevron in Los Angeles........ I thought I was going to have to grease the trailer, it was sooooooo tight getting out. Hubby speeds too. He says I drive like an old lady. (That would be an old lady with no tickets &#128512 We are just the opposite. I back in to the tricky ones. Jaws always drop when people see it. Lol. He's doing great though. He just has less experience than I do. Hey, who are you going to talk to at Forest River about the tires. We only had 4500 miles on ours. I know they won't cover the nice ones, but some of the cost would be nice

I got my fuel tank from Titan. For your 2001 F350, Titan has three tanks, 51 gallon, 60 gallon, and 67 gallon, depending on short bed, long bed, crew cab, etc. These go in place of you existing tank. They also have in bed tanks and tanks which take the place of the spare tire.
FR will not help with tires, they are a wear item, and not covered. Interesting thing I learned about triple axle RV alignments is that unless you have Lipperts "Correct Track" alignment system, the only way to align the RV is to bend the axels. Shops around here are hesitant (me too!) to do that. The Lippert Correct Track system looks pretty easy to install, costs about 300$, but unfortunately adds 2" to the height of your RV. At 13'-4" already, adding 2 more inches is not something I want to do.

FYI, the second year warranty from Forest River specifically states "tires" as covered. Did you get that warranty? I will try to post a picture of it. Tires are listed on the middle row, second from the bottom. I'm going to try to claim it. My second year warranty expired today.

Our roof membrane is also starting to separate. Yay? We just got the claim in on Thursday.

The Les Schwab guy said that the tires are separating which sounds like a defect to me. Especially since we only have 4500 miles on them.

Weve got a 2014 39r12 Vengeance and loving it so far.Changed out the china bomb tires for $900 and just replaced a newer interstate battery that was getting hot.It smelled like black tank so it took a few to figure it out.

Hey everybody! I need some help. I'm trying to figure out where/how/what to do with shoes in the trailer (39R12). My hubby brings in stickers and thorns so I want him to put his shoes by the door. I'm trying to come up with something to hold shoes that doesn't take up much space. Here is what I have to work with.

Yup, not much room there (we know) offhand I'd say put them in the drawer, but that's where we keep the dog leashes and poopie bags.

Second one is a vent. It's just hard to see. Thanks for the ideas though. I use the drawer for all the RV paperwork. Maybe I'll just put something outside next to the steps.

Hey everybody! My good friends son has a 2014-15 (not sure which year) 39R12 that he has decided to sell. I'm told that it's supposed to be a really good deal, but we didn't talk price. PM me if you know anyone interested. They moved it from Arizona to Oregon and I don't think it went anywhere else. They lived in it until they got a new house and have decided that it's not what they want. I know it was never traveled in as he never had a truck big enough.
