2014 Vengeance VGF39R12
We have one of the new 2014 VGF39R12 floor plans and wonder if anyone else has this model and how do you like it? We have had it back for little fixes since we got it but all in all we love the floor plan. The dealer did a great job of fixing the little things you find on your first outing. I would recommend FAMILY CAMPERS of Lebanon, Tn. if anyone is thinking of purchasing a camper near there. We are taking it back for one more thing , when cable is hooked up it has to go into the middle Satellite hook up not the cable hook up to play. (TV antenna works fine with booster on) But when cable is hooked up Radio in Garage will not work. Unhook cable it works fine. ( crazy).

Porky, we got our 39r12 in early April, and love it! We have only taken one trip do far, and everything (almost) worked fine for us. Haven't researched it yet, but on the switch panel, the forward most accent light switch does not seem to turn any lights on. No biggie, but just wondering what it does in yours. Other than that, we really do love it! This is our 5th camper, third toy hauler, and first 5th wheel. Pulls down the road like a dream. Got ours from Pete's RV in NW Indiana, great folks to deal with!
What do you haul in the garage?

light switch.
We asked when we took ours back for some adjustments and was told the Panel was a one size fits all panel and the switch does not hook up to anything that is on the floor plan we have. we took ours to Daytona Bike week 1800 mile round trip for a week. We have a Harley Trike.

Sweet! Our first trip was to Casey Il, for the moonshine run. Several more trips scheduled for this summer. Going to KC to visit HD factory, then on to Grand Junction Co. For a couple weeks, maybe more, and going to Pa. To the HD plant there, plus a few three day weekends.
We have two Harley Trikes, and get both in there! More and more trikes on the road every year.
My dealer told me the same story about the switch today.
Hope to see you on the road !

Porky, what does the yellow weight sticker say on yours? I know that FR weighs each unit as it comes off the line. The brochure sheet said 13000 empty, 18000 gross. My yellow sticker says 15037 empty, 20000 gross. Glad I had already made the decision to go to a 1 ton diesel dually!

My sticker says 14805, with the white sticker saying gross at 20590. We weighed out trailer on way to Fla. and with trike,15 gallons gas in tanks, and quarter full water it totaled 16,490. You must have more options than I do.

We have the 6 point auto leveling system, 3 tv's, side by side refer, two a/c units. So maybe that's it. We didn't order this unit, it was how it came.
Here's a pic of us and our Trike Riders group camping at KOA Kankakee for the long weekend.

Beautiful rig and trikes. His S-10 pulls it just fine.

Any problems with a noisy fan in Ref. When it get hot Above 85 the fan comes on in the back of ref. It has a loud noise, It sounds like a dry bearing? Another thing for the list when we take it back in a week or two.

Pulling down the road with it fully loaded is really a breeze. I put about 50-55 psi in the air bags to level it out, and the big diesel dually gets 11.9 MPG. I'll admit, we are real close to the 2000 lb 'garage' limit, but no pulling problems so far. Our refer seems fine, no noises. The under-mount sink broke loose on the way home from our last trip. Looks like poor quality and spotty application of the adhesive. No time or inclination for a dealer visit, so I re-bonded it with some heavy duty lock-tite adhesive. One thing I really don't like is dealing with the patio railing when loading and unloading the trikes. Might change my mind if we ever get a campsite long enough to try it out. I installed a washer-dryer combo in the closet this weekend, outside vented of course.
Leaving on a three week trip on the 11th, with all the comforts of home !

playpen
I agree about it being a hassle with the ramp and (playpen), As we call it. But we set it up in daytona and loved it. We could go in and out without going up steps and the dogs had a place to watch the sights, We sat up chairs and People watched. Still a lot of work to get trike in or out.

LOL, we have an 80' campsite reserved in Colorado in June, so we'll get to try the deck then. Our two Doxies will prolly like it. One thing I always forget when opening the ramp is to unlatch the doors from the inside first.
I'm gonna try to get to a weigh station sometime this summer.

One more thing about putting two trikes in there is you have to have mechanical reverse on the first trike in, as elect reverse just won't hack it !
Hope you are enjoying yours as much as we are! Have not seen another one yet.
