21rr.....could it haul 2 harleys?

Looking to buy a 21rr. Havnt seen one in person just pics on the internet. I like the floor plan but wondering if it could haul a fatboy and a road king? If anyone has hauled more than one bike in a 19rr or a 21rr pics would be great.
thanks.

While I haven't seen one either, get some tape, and lay out the garage size of the camper on your personal garage floor. With the camper at 8 feet wide, you are going to be close.
We have a Work and Play, and haul a Honda 750 Nighthawk and Yamaha 650 V star. Both have soft saddle bags. It is a tight fit, but works for us. Also watch your gross weight. You are talking about 1500 pounds, or more, of motorcycles. Add 500 pounds for clothes, dishes, food, and gear. Also check the ramp weight on the trailer. There is a a post on here somewhere, where a guy bent his ramp door loading a Gold Wing.

Good Luck.

Two Harleys

It's going to be tight. I bought a 19rr in Oct, and have my Ultra in it now.
the 21rr is longer, but I think the limiting factor is going to be width. It's a tight squeez just to walk by when the bike is in the TT, let alone get another bike beside it.

With the extra length of the 21rr, you may be able to stagger them. If you can back in the smaller of the two, I think you have a chance.

Good luck!!!

Bikes Loaded

Hey,

Just remembered I had some pics. This is a 2008 model Work and Play LT18. 18 foot box, garage in back. Loaded on the left, as seen from the rear, is a 2001 Honda 750 NightHawk. Loaded on the right is a 2008 Yamaha 650 V Star Classic. As you can see, it more of a width issue. I have these staggered and the the handlebars are close to hitting. Have to load the Nighthawk, and leave on the side stand. Then load the V star, and strap down. Then strap the Nighthawk.

DakotaFast,

I would be very concerned about fitting two such big bikes in a 21RR. The 19RR and 21RR do not have a lot of width to offer since the fold up couch occupies space on the one side and the large kitchen counter with sink is on the other side of the trailer. Here are the dimensions of the 19RR, and with the 21RR you could simply add 24" or 2 feet to the 124" dimension or end up with 148". I would then use Windrider's suggestion of marking this area out on your garage floor with tape and see if you can get the two bikes in there.

You also need to consider where the 4 eyelets are mounted on the floor of the trailer since you are somewhat limited to how far from these eyelets your handlebard could be.

As for looks of the pics, My Work and Play 18LT is a full 8 foot wide inside, minus the fenders which can be seen holding up a pair of riding boots on the right side of the interior shot. I don't have the wall couches, but instead the bed is over the bikes at this moment. It is a "happi-jac" on an electric lift. The handlebars are not wide, and we don't have fairings out past our grips either. It will be a tight fit, if it will even work.

I have a 21RR. My golf cart is 56 inches wide and 142 inches long. The length is not an issue at all but the width is another story......

Here is a couple pics of the cart in the trailer.

you can see in the 2nd pic that you have extra width in the back. So, you can get them in there but it really depends on the width of you bars and any fairings you may have?? If you just have the windshield on the Road king with soft bags, you may have enough room? Put the FB in first and slide the rear of it as far to the couch/wall as possible, you could pull th RK up along side of it on the kitchen side.
I think it could be done.... but do you want to load and unload like that all the time?

That said, it's a great camper with plenty of room for 2 people

For what your looking to do, I think that's a better choice.
Good luck.
