26rr battery issue
So I got a brand new 26rr and everything was working perfectly. I have it in my driveway plugged into the garage with a 30amp to 110 connection. The breaker in the garage is 20amps. I left it plugged in for the last couple days and went to move it today and when I unplugged it I had no power to the trailer at all, the electric jack, radio, lights, nothing. Had to plug it back in to hook to truck. It's a brand new battery, and it was plugged in so it should of been charging it. Am I missing something?

Do you have a battery disconnect switch?
Maybe it's off?
Are you able to test battery voltage?
I've seen new batteries go bad.
You didn't specify how long you've had the rig only that you bought new and everything was working perfectly... but for how long?
Test the voltage at the battery.
A fully charged battery is usually around 12.6 to 12.8 volts DC.
Leave the meter attached to the battery and plug in the camper and see what it reads.
Voltage should go to somewhere around 13.4 to 13.8 volts.
If it goes up, your converter is working and should charge your battery.
Again, if the battery is bad, even though the converter tries to charge the battery, the battery won't hold the charge and needs to be replaced.

Some converters are protected on both sides to protect it. Example if you connect bat. leads backwards. Big Maxi fuse 50AMP? Check there.

It was functioning correctly until today. I was able to use jack and lights etc on the battery power. I haven't turned any switches or fine anything to it. Could I have died the converter by plugging it into 110 and running ac

If you had the proper 30 to 20/15 adapter plug you should be ok. That is how I plug mine to my house all the time. Have not made a dedicated plug yet. On the to do list.

5picker is right - the voltmeter is your friend. Any cheap multimeter from Walmart, auto parts stores, etc. will do. Without it you are blind.

How long did it take for the electrics to start working after you plugged it back in? Like the others suggested, you should check the voltage with a multimeter...almost seems like a pooched battery...not holding charge, remove it, charge it up, and do a draw test...auto parts store/garage can do that for you.

So...ran across another post in the electrical section and saw there was a little black button to push to reset up underneath trailer on trailer wall. I climbed up under there and sure enough it's there, pushed it, and I have 12v power again! This forum is great! Now to find out why it tripped?

Sounds like the 12v overload breaker on the battery and tow vehicle power. Usually that is a auto reset and located outside and near front. I have not looked for mine on my 26rr yet. Let us know what you find out.

Where exactly did you find that button? I know you have been dealing with this a few days. Thanks

Outside the trailer, crawl up underneath, and on the wall of the tongue where the propane line goes through there is a battery connection with a tiny black button.
