26RR....How do you store the table!!!!

How or where has anyone figured out the best place to store the oem table ??

I need the back bed so really leaving it at home isn't an option. I just cant see where they think this thing would stow away.

Pics would be great if anyone has ideas.

We haul a Polaris RZR in ours and stow the table up on its side behind the RZR. Tie it off to the floor anchors up tight against the rear wheels, works good for us. Sorry I don't have any pictures of it stowed. I do hate that table though, thinking of getting a floor mounted leg set to replace that heavy folding mechanism.

Store mine with the legs folded in the spare bed position, came with velcro on the rails to keep it from sliding. With my Harley loaded, I load up to the front D rings into a chock. The table is then turned crossways between the folded benches and tied off to the back D rings. I see more comments about the table, it is no doubt a heavy weight issue and like you I need it most of the time for a spare bed. Sorry no photo

I have found the best place to store it is in the basement of our house. I have a small Walmart table which folds up and fits under the bed.
I found the supplied table heavy, self collapsing, and certainly dangerous if I had small grandkids on board.

I remove the screws and place the table between spare bed inside a blanket with bed lifted. I pull my scooter in kitchen, put folded table legs behind scooter, then pull my sons race quad in garage. I use a small cordless drill for screws. Sounds like a lot of work but only takes about 1/2 a beer to get fully set up. Sorry, no pictures on this phone.

I have a couple quads to load< hopefully it will fit beside one. I need it for the rear bed, I have 4 of us in the trailer.
Really wish the legs folded flat. Funny when using it for the bed they don't reach the ground either!

I have 26 RR and I was wondering the same thing don't have spare bunk that raises out of the way

We place it between an ATV and the wall and strap it in; however, really like Riderbloke's idea and think we will remove the table and replace with a folder that is lighter.
We do not use the large rear bed, but rather just the benches as two separate beds (plenty big for kids)...that way the grandkids are not laying together and fighting all night.

I am going to take the folding leg kit off and install 2 pedestal leg kits. That darn factory table assembly is heavy!

I stand it up in my 27RR and went to get two "Swag Hooks" with butterfly nuts to keep them tight against the wall. I use 4 of them and then use the appropriate length bungees to keep the table upright. I would send pictures but my unit is not here at my house. I have traveled for nearly a thousand miles and no issues.

I found 2 wall joist and screwed in some eyelets and place a towell between wall and table and use a pull strap to secure.

I installed a 3/4"x12"x24" piece of plywood on the wall above the wheel well. I furred it out with two 2"x 12" pieces of plywood for clearance of the bottom of the table glides. Be sure to use screws that are not too long that could possibly go through the wall. I attached two eye bolts to the plywood with them spaced about 12" apart. Stand the table on end with the legs toward the outside wall and push a rod through one eye bolt over the leg support of the table and into the other eye bolt. Will try to attach photos. Works great and was easy to do.[IMG][/IMG]

Great idea, but for the life of me I can't determine where you did it. Is it below the wall cabinets on the curb side?

I have a 27 RR and located it on the drivers side above the wheel well which is forward from the cabinets. You can locate it in another spot to meet your needs if you like. Worked well for me in that location and also can store a cushion next to it.

pictures if you could still wondering what to do with table thought about putting on the bed and strapping down or strapping down on the floor dont want to fall on the bike while traveling

I just finished a quick release mount for my 26rr. I bought 3 rear ramp bumpers and two fold out bunk latches. This set up could be mounted on either side at the folded up couch. I cut the center out of the bumper 3/4" wide and screwed 3 to floor. The table sits in the groove cut out nicely so no damage to the table or flooring. Table sits at 90 degrees to the floor and then mounted the two fold out bunk latches. All you have to do is spin the handles to loosen and then they flip up allowing table to set down. Table ends up being where you want to use it. You can even pull out the extended base and easy to handle with 1 person. I have plenty of room with Harley bagger or my 4 wheeler next to it. Also I noticed that it stands even with the straps not hooked up.

Good job. Best idea yet for the table in a 26RR. I store mine in the basement. [emoji6] imagine how much better it would have been if the legs folded flatter against the table. Ah! Well!

I don't have a 26RR, but I have the 19WP which has a very similar setup. I've never taken that miserable, awkward, over-weight, unhandy table with us on any trip. We do use our rear bed, though, so I needed something to span between the two couches. I took a piece of plywood that was thick enough to handle the weight of sleeping peeps, cut it in half, hinged it, then made an opening for a handle. When not in use, I simply set it behind the folded up couches. Works great!
