Hi all I'm trying to make use of the space in the storage on my 27RR with a slide type shelf to where I can utilize all or most of the space in their! Any ideas will be appreciated Thanks.

Well at least it'll be easy to catch! :P

First thing I'd check is the service panel under the fridge.

Having the same thoughts about the front storage area. Was thinking of getting long not very tall totes, like ones that go under a bed. That way I can pack them in the house and just slide them in and take them out when done camping. Am also thinking of making a door under the front queen bed to access the cargo area.

27RR Grey Wolf

My first thought early on was to use totes and I tried that with just one and soon realized how awkward it was to use on a daily basis. Making a door reduced the size of the tote and how far into the bed storage I could push them, or rather reach in to get them. Plus to get one I may have to remove another. Storage with easy external access is much more practical, especially for my wife, for use on a daily basis for things like clothes, which is what we most needed.
I basically only put stuff in the under bed storage that I get out once and leave out until I'm ready to pack and move on.
Try out the totes and see what you think. Make sure you have a system to hold the bed up while you maneuver them in and out!
Menards sale on the units I bought tipped the balance and rmac04401's explanation of how he did it made it possible for me, especially the cutting of the luan.

I use those old milk crates under the bed. They sort things and are easy to slide around under the bed. I put things I rarely use all the way in the back (like the spare tires - hope I never need those). It works pretty well.

I really miss the bunk bed I had in my 19rr where I stored the chairs and other bigger lightweight items.
