Just bought mine today. I just read that parking at inlet if spot avail is $20 per bike so two trips there you break even for one ticket.

You the only local person that responded that you would be interested in camp/bike weekend. I thought I'd get more response.

I'm up to still doing it. What types of campgrounds do you prefer? We like state parks but open to private. Let me know if you are still interested and we can throw some dates out there and location then maybe others will join.

Thanks for info on OC tickets.

No the events tickets I bought allows you into the concerts, vendors at the inlet. Parking at inlet. The convention center is free parking. Metered Parking in downtown OC there are some vendors and places just across from OC bridge. Delmarva (salsbury) most all Venus have free parking and access.

We went last year and did not attend concerts and certain events and still had great time.

That's just not right. I've been to the Panama City rally many times and they advertise it as a free rally. I think some of the individual business have a "cover charge" if they have name bands performing but all the other entertainment is no charge. Even the hotels actually lower their rates during the two weekly events. The campgrounds appear to have normal rates (which are still too hight).

But, it's probably a smaller event than OC. I've heard larger numbers but I don't think they get more than 25-30,000 bikes at PC.

I had to pay $10 a person to go into the vendors at Americade rally in Lake George NY. Then the concerts had a small charge I think. I think the charge in OC is just downtown.

Not a problem. Unless you can pedal really fast.

Nice weather is here still wondering if anyone in Pennsylvania, Maryland, or Delaware, would like to meet up for motorcycle riding and camping. Looking at first 3 weeks of June timeframe. Can meet anywhere in central and eastern PA, central, or eastern Maryland or Delaware (northern) that would be around three hours from the York/Gettysburg area.

Anyone heading to Americade this coming weekend? Looking forward to it, staying at Moose Hillock.

As for PA bike/camp trips, Steel Steeds is a nice, simple CG right on the river near Lewisburg. It's a great jumping off point for rides in all directions--toward Harrisburg, toward State College, or Rt.6/Grand Canyon area, Lock Haven, Renovo, etc. The owner is a biker too and a good guy. Heading there July 4 weekend...
