After finding something other than Barney purple to match the camper somewhat I came back and laid some shag. Then I put the carpet in. Two separate pieces but it will work well when I travel because I can just roll the back one up until I get where I'm going. I strap all of my gear down in identical stacking containers.

Luckily I found a rubber coated one that matched the other two and put it in front of the door. This should make cleaning the entrance easier.

Can't forget the front. I've been a computer geek since the very early 80's. Chances are I'll spend a lot of time in the front on my computer so I got a darker color to help mask the soda stains being ground into the carpet from my chair.

The wife didn't like the large temperature swings from the furnace. The cold air coming off of the window displeased her also. Fixed the air coming off of the windows with a variety of bubble wrap. The temperature swings were fixed by a two wire (heat only) digital thermostat.

And oh, that darned table. Mash my fingers repeatedly will you!! Be gone.. And be replaced my WallMart's finest China. Well, it's probably Chinese made. I think even the food at WalMart is made in China now.

These tables fit nicely behind the sofas when folded. I bought two to place behind each sofa when parked. For one thing it's redundant without much space. For another we can have one setup inside and another outside if we want.

These tables are pretty big. It's as long as the sofas are wide. Only drawback is that they won't bridge the gap between the sofas to make the king size bed I like. Working on a solution for that. Right now I just use three pieces of wood to make the bed but I'll figure out how to use one of these tables.

And even though I wouldn't dance on the table after too much tequila it was sturdy enough for my recent construction work. I'm 300 + pounds so maybe I shouldn't be dancing on any table.

I think it could be good for cooking a nice meal even.

Last but not least is this lowly container. It's by itself right now but it has 8 siblings that get a ride in the camper. I going to make a platform to sit partially on the wheel well so I can stack some of them and make a little table next to the bench where the flat screen is.

Speaking of the flat screen. My wife will keel me but I'm thinking about putting a 40-42" LED flat screen in the camper. Not my fault, I'm a guy.

Just to prove to my wife it would work I took these pictures. Being a retard I counted the stand in on my measurements when trying to see what would fit. Hence, the reason I can put the stand on the monitor and it 'just' touches the top of the sofa.

Just curious what "toys" are you hauling and where do you store all the add ons when you travel. Do you take down the tv when traveling or keep it mounted?

Slidell? I used to live in New Orleans East when I was a kid. Fond memories of running for my life.

TV is fine. I don't haul anything but gear so far. It's my plan to have a smallish motorcycle at some point though. Gotta prepare for the zombie apocalypse. If it's anything like living in New Orleans East when I was a child I gotsta be seriously prepped.

Har har har...

Found a toshiba 39 inch LED which weighs only 14.3 pounds without stand at best buy. I am planning on mounting it above the sofa like you did. BTW The east has only gotten a lot worse. Try to go as fast as possible through the east back and forth from Slidell to NOLA lol

Man, I remember being a scared white country boy many a night walking home from McDonalds where I worked. It was on Chef Menture (probably not spelled correctly) Hwy. close to Read Blvd. If I missed that last buss to the apartments it was 5 miles of bad territory I had to traverse as a white boy in a greasy McDonalds outfit. Kinda like the movie "The Warriors".

What made it worse was I wore a pair of cowboy boots that had the metal ring on the ankle. One of the leather straps had broke so it clanked with every step I took "clak, clak, clak". Nah, huh uhh,, I didn't stand out at all. Luckily I looked so damn poor nobody bothered to shoot or stab me. Had some scary moments though.

Warriors, come out to Playyayyy..!!!

Hell, there was a long stretch of swampy area. No houses around but the back of my legs would go weak when I heard a car slowing down as I walked home at 1:00Am. I could tell by the sound of the tires whether I had to run or not. Then it was "clakity, clakity, clakity" as I ran off into the swampy woods.

I remember one time a car stopped in front of me. I edged to the side of the road. The dome light came on and I saw some terrified old lady and one pissed looking big guy. "Clakity, Clakity, Clakity.....". I'm pretty sure she didn't get to see daylight again. Fun times.

Details on the install? Any 2 wire digital thermostat work?

From what I understand any "heat only" two wire thermostat will work. And it's easy. Hell, I did it. Below is the thermostat I chose. After hours of reading this one had very good reviews. I wasn't looking for flash. More of a dependability kind of guy.

Just saw your thread. Love the pics. I like the t-stat upgrade, might do that with my 19WP. I hate that the a/c is not on t-stat. Just another cheap-azz move by the manufacturer and had I been aware, I'd have made sure my was outfitted with one. I called my dealer and they quoted me $800 to upgrade the a/c to run off one t-stat with the furnace.

So are you using the front as an office instead of a bed?

It's both an office and a bed. The computer stand was made to be easily removed. After you take it out you can pull the platform up and pop the legs out, then let it down into the bed position. I had planned on making it be versatile.

It just seemed a waste to lose the floor space for what was just a box drilled into the RV floor. Now I have an area (with a curtain) that I can close and read my kindle late of a night without bothering the wife too much. Or, she can go sleep there when I'm snoring particularly loud. Or, I can power up one of my overpowered computers and play World of Warcraft (Don't judge me, I'm a 50'ish years old computer nerd).

I'm always trying to figure out how to maintain floor space but create more usability.
