Auto/continuous setting for ac?
I have only been out twice in my new 21rr. The first time the ac would cycle off and on when it reached the set temperature. This last camping session it never shut off. It seemed to cool ok though. I don't see any place on the thermostat to set the fan to run continuously or auto. Is there a switch for this?

It is always better to take pictures of your problem to get decent advice.

Depending on your thermostat you have an "on" setting and an "auto" setting for the fan.

If you press the on/off once that should light up the LED next to fan. Then, by pressing the + and - buttons you should cycle through 'auto', 'low', and 'high' as displayed in the centre screen.

Isn't the fan and A/C two different settings?? On our 325RES, the A/C runs a fan continuously without a fan choice. If you set it to fan, then the A/C isn't running. Maybe I'm missing something??? We did just recently purchase.

When the fan is set in auto, the fan only runs when the A/C is running...when the temperature setpoint is reached, both fan and A/C shut down. If the fan is set to on position (hi or low), the fan runs continously even after the temperature setpoint is reached and the A/C shuts down. I usually set the fan to run continously to help with circulation. Same as with your home system.

You don't have to "play" with it, just read the small Dometic manual for the digital thermostat that you should have received with your trailer. If you didn't get one, you can find the manual on the Dometic webiste.

My 21RR didn't come with a thermostat either for the air conditioner. I was wondering if one could be added. Any help?

My 19WP also does not come with a t-stat. It just runs constant. Called the dealer, they said they could modify it to run off t-stat for the low, low, discount price of $700.
