Backup Camera Ready?

Hello Everyone,

I just joined. I have a regular fifth wheel now, but needed a toy hauler. I am on the east coast and needed an 18' garage, so the Vengeance SS 295A18 was the only option. I found most open floor plans are in travel trailers, not fifth wheels. I have the 295A18 on order.

Anyway, I will not have much prep time when it arrives and needed to order some stuff. Does anyone know the details on the "backup camera ready" option that I am supposed to be getting?

Is it for a wired or wireless system? Any brands that you would recommend to work well with this prep?

P.S The 295A18 used to be known as the 310A18. The name was changed to comply with normal American RV naming conventions which require that the name imply a length that is at least 4' shorter than the actual length.

Welcome to the forum. As far as pre prepped for back up camera most tt from FR come with the Furrion system. It is a wireless system and you have to buy the camera and receiver. It's basically plug and play for the camera. Also tt lights ned to be on to make it work. Go to there web sight and see what you think. I do not like the small screen on the receiver other than that it works fine for me. Later RJD
