Battery Disconnect

Grey Wolf 26RR

I have looked and can not find a battery disconnect on this trailer. Does it have one?

Battery Disconnect

Pretty hard to tell since you didn't post a year.
It may not have one.

Looking at the specs on the forest river website it mentions nothing about a battery disconnect.

I don't think Cherokees have them as a factory item.
In fact, I don't know of any "stick and tin" trailers that do.

You could just unhook the ground wire from the battery.

Or.

Or, go to Walmart and buy one. Under $10. Took 5 mins to install and fits under battery box as well. Used a spare battery bolt and nut to connect trailer wire to one end of switch and the other end just slips over battery post and tightens down. Screw down the green wheel to connect and have power. Loosen green wheel to disconnect power.

I had a battery disconnect installed with a pull/push knob which has worked out great.

Battery Disconnect

Although there is not a battery disconnect I did have the pleasure of having to locate a reset switch. It is just under the very front of the frame where the wiring harness goes into the junction box. It was located on the right side and a very small button, almost missed it.
