Can heat strips be added?

Can heat strips be added to the ac on Gray Wolf's or do they have to be ordered from the factory that way?

Wondered this myself. After reading more about them I have kind of decided against it. Almost sounds like a space heater is a better option. Curious to hear input from others.

We use a small 1200 watt thermostat controlled space heater we use with our 27 fq Puma. It will keep the trailer at 70 degrees with the front bedroom curtain pulled closed when the outside temp drops to 18 dregrees. A bunch cheaper than heat strips for the air conditioner. That and the furnace we have spent $200 for propane on has been pretty comfortable since Sep here in Idaho. At 18 and below I definitely have to run the furnace more.

Best Regards

I installed the heat strip that I bought on the internet. I think it works OK. it can take the chill off in the morning but its not going to put out a lot of heat. The down side is the noise from running the overhead AC fan. I dont regret installing it. We use a 1500 watt ceramic heater for more heat trying to avoid using the LPG furnace. So far since we had our 2008 HTT we have not used the LP furnace, however the coldest temp we camped in was in the hi 40's.
