If it's anything like mine, there are 1001 self-tapping screws through the frame on either edge and then poorly into a handful of boards running across the camper.

Take down as few as you need- that thing is annoying to deal with!

Easiest might be to cut a three sided flap (solid portion towards front) and then re-seal with Gorilla tape (screws if you can hit something) or Nashua window flashing tape.

I have not done this myself but a mobile rv tech told me how they cut into the underbelly. they make a four sided cut out with square corners. to put it back together they take some sheet metal flashing and install it on the remaining flashing so that it overlaps the cut edge. they put in self tapping screws through the underbelly and into the flashing to hold it in place. then put the cut out piece back in and fasten it to the flashing the same way. finally gorilla tape or equivalent over the cuts to seal it. seems like of good process to me.
