Grey Wolf 27RR GVWR

Well, I have realized there is no way to haul a side by side in the rear of the 27RR without exceeding the capacity of the two 3500 lb axels. The payload capacity is1974 lbs. However, for that to apply, you have to maintain 934 lbs of tongue weight which is the empty tongue weight. If you load a 1400-1500 pound side by side into the garage, which is behind the rear axel, you obviously lose tongue weight. The 27rr empty is 5960 lbs. The axels can only take 1040 additional lbs leaving 934 to get to the 7934 GVWR.

Here is how I understand it and the weight police will be right behind to correct me if i'm wrong.....

Trailer GVWR is 7934
Axles rating are 3500 lbs X 2, so 7000lbs total
Trailer UVW is 5960 lbs
Tongue weight (empty) 934 lbs
CCC is 1974 lbs

You have to remember that when trailer is hook up to towing vehicle, the tongue weight is transferred to the truck and not on the trailer axles. So if you take 5960 lbs - 934 lbs + 1974 lbs = 7000 on the axles if nothing else is added to the trailer.

Using a WDH adds weight to the trailer axle. Can't wait to hear responses!
