Greywolf rr-19. Generator

What size of a generator do you need to be able to run everything a once?

you need to post the make/model number/size of the a/c, if you want to run it. size of a/c will dictate size of generator.
also, what's important: quietness or price?

if you don't want to run the a/c, then a 2000w inverter generator is the best choice, especially if you'll be in a campground. it'll run everything but the a/c.

if you're boondocking with no neighbors, the Champion 3500 can't be beat for price/quality/power. it's just much louder than an inverter generator.

minimum would be the Yamaha EF2400i, which they claim will run most 13.5k a/c units. but since you don't have your location listed, i don't know if you plan on camping in the mountains, which might be an issue for the 2400.

right now, if i was buying, i'd get the new Champion 3100w inverter generator. it will easily run your a/c and is about as quiet as a Honda/Yamaha one but only costs $900.

Put on a hard start capacitor on the ac and the 2400i will run it. Very cheap and easy to install. You need to turn off the ac to use the microwave.
