you need to post the make/model number/size of the a/c, if you want to run it. size of a/c will dictate size of generator.
also, what's important: quietness or price?
if you don't want to run the a/c, then a 2000w inverter generator is the best choice, especially if you'll be in a campground. it'll run everything but the a/c.
if you're boondocking with no neighbors, the Champion 3500 can't be beat for price/quality/power. it's just much louder than an inverter generator.
